I don’t make many large pieces, but when I do, I go a long way to make them unforgettably different.

I fused the glass in my studio kiln and then designed the setting around it, all of the time keeping the aesthetically organic look, but adding the sparkle that I love in what I make.

The nature of the dichroic glass is that it changes colour in different light, and the colours are a warm pink /golden/ orange with a touch of lilac and lime.

It is a piece that I would say will make you unforgettable whenever it is worn. It’s large, but frames the neck to a wonderful V at the front.

Each stone and granulated ball is hand placed and fused to the piece, ending at the edge with a fluid loop that wraps around itself like the tendrils of a climbing plant.

The chain is also a favourite of mine, each link has been wrapped freely with more silver wire, and finishes in a flourish with a lovely ‘S’ shaped clasp.

The front of the necklace measures 11.5cm from loop to loop, and 8.5cm at the deepest point.

It’s Necklace length is approx. 18 ¾”.
